How do we become a team that really works together, instead of a collection of professionals? I don’t see enough commitment and mutual support, how can we pick that up? How can my team communicate better? What is really going on in people’s heads, somehow we don't all seem to pursue the same goals? How do I get rid of 'old pain' in a productive way?
Through training, coaching and facilitation, I help teams to see, sense and listen at a deeper level than before. What is really going on? What does each team member need and how can the team and teammates play a productive role in that?
I help teams achieving more openness, having the courage to be more vulnerable, which immediately clarifies the strength and contribution of each participant. Colleagues get to better understanding and work more together.
Every human being, every colleague, has a story, has a past, has qualities and dreams. In my view, it is essential to bring the connection with the personal story into your work and into working together, while together keeping the common goal in mind and making progress on it.
Team development
Assignments on team development range from facilitation of 2-day strategy sessions, to helping to restore disrupted trust. I am often asked to help give a new and starting team a foundation of openness and mutual trust. With which the group then gets off to a flying start on the content of their work.
Working effectively together requires the willingness to be genuine and authentic. From there, one can make a connection. A connection to oneself, to one another and to the mutual objective.
